Details and ideas for the future

Here are a few detail shots of some recent platters. We've had a great reception to these platters this summer and fall. Lots of folks anxious to see more of them! To that end, we're steadily plugging away at getting images of ALL the platter onto our website. Hopefully by the end of January, we should be able to have them all on ONE page, and all their pricing and sizing info to boot. Might even make it possible to buy them through Etsy or some other storefront.

Here's to the New Year (which seems just around the bend...)

Gorgeous - the detail work is incredible.

Thanks Anne-Marie,
I am considering making prints of these details. It would seem that a lot of folks who would balk at spending $2000-3000 for one of our huge platters (28" across and 100#), would think nothing of dropping $300-$400 for a 20x30 print. At that scale you feel like you're IN the glaze!

ps. thanks for all your help with my soap/temperature problems. I think I have finally figured out the delaminating problems.

I really like those glaze details! That's the kind you could stare at forever. Good idea about selling prints of those!

Thanks for the support Joy. These platters are pretty wild. The closer you get, the more you feel like you're just gonna fall in! Some of the big ones are just begging for a wall with 10-15' ceilings. Not something we have in our small house and tiny studio.
